Register Club Participants and Leaders

The Awana club at Harvest Rolling Meadows will begin on Wednesday, September 14. The club begins at 6:30 P.M. and ends at 8:00 P.M. for Cubbies and  8:10 P.M. for Sparks and T&T.

The Awana club is a weekly program that encourages scripture memory, Christ-centered worship, peer interactions, intentional discipleship, and fun game play. Participating children receive a handbook and a uniform. As they work through the assignments in the handbook, which include scripture memorization, service projects, and hands on activities, awards and badges are earned. The handbook and uniform are included in the cost of registration. Awana is an outreach oriented ministry, so we encourage you to invite your neighbors and school friends to join us this year.

The Awana club consists of four age groups:

• Puggles is for 2-year-olds (by September 1) who have parents serving weekly in the Awana ministry.
• Cubbies is for 3- and 4-years-olds (by September 1). Cubbie participants must be potty-trained and at least one guardian must remain in the church building each week for the duration of the ministry night.
• Sparks is for Kindergarten, first, and second grade students.
• T&T is for third, fourth, and fifth grade students.

Basic Fee
1st Child - $55, 2nd Child - $50, 3rd Child - $45, Additional Child - $40 each

• Early Registration Discount - Subtract $5 per child
  This discount applies to all registrations prior to September 5, 2011.
• Awana Worker Discount - Subtract $5 per child
  This discount applies when one adult parent/guardian commits to serving each week for the year in the Awana program.
• Returning Clubber Discount - Subtract $10 per child
  This discount is for clubbers who will be using the same uniform vest or shirt as last year. Clubbers entering Kindergarten or 3rd grade are NOT ELIGIBLE for this discount.

Awana Leaders
There is no better way to capture the full impact that the Awana program offers your family than by serving as a worker on the team. You will be able to walk alongside them, worship alongside them, learn what they are learning, and experience what they experience. This will also help create daily ministry moments with your child as you refer to the teaching and learning that you have shared. We count on our leaders to make our Awana club the best experience it can be. We welcome and encourage parents and others interested in serving in this exciting ministry to register as a leader by clicking on the registration button below. 

In order to equip you for the ministry we ask you to attend these important meetings: 

• Wednesday, September 7th at 6:30 P.M. - Vision Casting and Walk Through Training
• TBD - Role Specific Training

Family Dinners
A buffet style family dinner is available for anyone on Wednesday evenings when Awana is meeting. Dinners will be held from 5:30 to 6:20 P.M. in the Cornerstone Cafe. The cost is $5 per adult and $2 per child.
