Cristinel Calin | Moldova

Welcome to Moldova. Bordered by Romania and Ukraine, Moldova was incorporated into the Soviet Union at the close of World War II. It has an interesting mixture of Romanian heritage and a Russian past. In 1991, Moldova declared itself an independent state, but as one of the poorest nations in Europe it continues to face political instability.

Pastor Cristinel Calin is from Romania, but was called to minister in Moldova soon after his conversion. He and his wife have been involved in youth and church ministry there since 1997 and are excited to plant the first Harvest Moldova in the capital city, Chisinau.

With a strong Eastern Orthodox religion, Moldovans are in dire need of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It is Pastor Cristinel’s vision to plant a biblical church based on the four pillars and bring eternal life to those in the city. Pray for Pastor Cristinel and his family as they begin this church.
