Production Ministry

Production at Harvest Bible Chapel is about ministry first.  The role of the production department is to communicate the message of GOD's truth without distraction.  Participants in this ministry understand clearly that, while their work is done behind the scenes, they are the caretakers of the message - responsible for making sure that it's communication proceeds purely and unhindered.

As a support function when done well, production often goes unnoticed to the general population.  At Harvest however, we recognize production is not simply a support function, it is a ministry and an art form in itself.  As an art form, its contribution to the overall ministry is powerfully subtle.  In either case, whether as a support or a contributing art form, its impact is substantial and extremely effective.

Much of production at Harvest involves several media forms including audio, video, lighting, graphics and staging.  We strive to use the various technological and non-technical outlets available to reach the hearts and minds of people, allowing GOD to use us to usher people to the feet of CHRIST.

Specifically, our production department consists of several volunteer teams:

Audio - This team consists of Monitor Engineers, and Audio Assistants.

Live Videography - This team consists of Camera Operators, Shading Technicians, Technical Video Directors and Directors

Lighting - This team consists of Lighting Engineers and Lighting Technicians

Graphics - This team consists of Graphics Operators and Designers

Staging - This team consists of Stage Managers and Stage Hands

System Teams - This team consists of members who are committed to special projects such as installation and maintenance of production equipment.

We have many serving opportunities available.  If you are interested in serving in any of the areas listed above, please fill out the Production Application Form (found under "Resources" column on the left side of this page), and return to Steve Johnson.
