Evangelicals readily recognize that we live in a postmodern age. But
what should be our attitude toward postmodernity? Many evangelical
Christians tend to resist postmodernity, but some argue that we should
not be so hostile toward it. One group who takes the latter view is
called the “Emergent Church.” In this forum we will seek to understand
and evaluate this significant trend in today’s American church. Come
join us in this Apologetic Forum as Dr. David Finkbeiner unpacks the
theology of the Emergent Church on March 12 at 7:00 P.M. in Cornerstone

David Finkbeiner is Professor of Theology at Moody Bible Institute,
where he has taught since 1998. David earned his B.A. from Bob Jones
University, his M.A. and M.Div. from Biblical Theological Seminary and
his Ph.D. in systematic theology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity
School.
